Enjoy a full day Private Guided Jeep Safari along Dorset's stunning Jurassic Coast in our beautiful and amazingly comfortable 4x4 Land Rover Defender. We combine visiting the most spectacular tourist and off piste locations along the Jurassic Coast (Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, etc), with some extraordinary 4x4 off-roading driving along the top of hills and ridges, through fields of friendly cows and sheep, spotting deer, hares, peregrine falcons and plenty more. Our upgraded Land Rover Defender 110 has 6 extremely comfortable leather passenger seats and despite being off-road for some of the tour, you will experience the luxury and excellence of this vehicle. You will be collected from your cruise ship and taken on your own private experience in this beautiful part of England.     The Safari will head out exploring the best of the Isle of Purbeck has to offer in our amazing Land Rover Defender. With air conditioning and leather seats, this will be a comfortable and careful safari, exploring the area in style. Our most popular safari, starts and ends in Swanage, travelling along country roads, off-road byways and permitted landowners farm tracks. This amazing safari heads high above Corfe Castle, then on to Heaven's Gate with the most spectacular views of Poole Harbour in the East and Portland to the West, then through the Lulworth Ranges, lost village of Tyneham and the famous Durdle Door. Alternative pick up and drop off locations upon request.  Refreshments and home-made cake is provided on this safari

    In our customised Land Rover Defender 110, the safari will head over the hills high above Corfe Castle with spectacular views of Purbeck and beyond. Safari guide will drive off-road at a comfortable pace to enjoy the views. A stop at the top of the hill is a must. A stop in the village an option for travelers.

  • South West Coast Path - Heaven's Gate at Kimmeridge Bay, Kimmeridge, United Kingdom
    Safari guide will again head off road and take a long narrow path to the top of Heaven's Gate and along the cliff path. The view is probably the best in Dorset and not accessible without Dorset Safari's trusty Land Rover Defender. We'll stop for a stretch of legs and a nice tea / coffee and home made cake!

  • Tyneham Village and Flower's Barrow Walk, Tyneham, United Kingdom
    With your safari guide, explore the lost village of Tyneham, the picturesque village left abandoned during WW2. Learn about how the locals had to leave their homes, which was then used in the war effort as a military training area. To this day, Tyneham is only open seasonally. An option for an alternative stop will be made if the village is closed.

  • Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, West Lulworth, United Kingdom
    Our final stop is to the iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, both fully deserving of their fabulous reputation and must see destinations. Time available for you to head down to the Man-O-War Beach or stretch your legs taking the Jurassic Coast walk to Lulworth Cove for pick up. This truly is a fantastic end to the day before heading back to Swanage.

My son and I really enjoyed it. The driver told a lot about the history of the places we visited, the car drove very well, we felt very safe. I recommend everyone to try it and gain a lot of good emotions. Thank you for great places and very good times.

What a brilliant way to spend a morning, Mark was an excellent host for over 4 hours with a great local knowledge, very warm and friendly with a great sense of humour (I think!) sharing some incredible sights of this beautiful area. I very highly recommend booking to see the some incredible and breathtaking views that would take you months so see on foot. Many thanks Mark, and all the very best with this brilliant venture. One always wonders how the promise of a four hour afternoom out will be fulfilled, but the time positively flew by in Mark's splendid company. A knowledgeable and wholly engaging guide, he took us up hill and down Dale through many a nook and cranny - taking in fields, forests, churches, a castle and villages (lived in and long uninhabited). Lots of information along the way and plenty of highlights from the natural world: sheep(s), cows, deer, butterflies, birds of prey, and INCREDIBLE views. And a few cheeky little extras too - many thanks to Helen for her incredible Dorset Apple Cake and Rocky Road. Can't recommend this experience enough, was a great way to finish our holiday along the south coast. Cheers.
